Sahibnoor joined THEMA in 2023 after completing her Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health, specialising in Communicable Disease Control at the University of Sydney. Throughout her degrees, she gained an understanding of public health policy and economics, advanced epidemiology, and research – producing a dissertation piece on the use of Citizen Science in Public Health. She gained particular interest in the interactions between health and its external components such as social determinants, climate change and One Health. Sahibnoor joined THEMA to pursue her passion of increasing health equity and apply her broad knowledge of Public Health to the Australian health care system.
