Carmel Guarnieri is a health technology assessment, reimbursement, and market access professional with 15 years consulting experience in Australia and UK and is knowledgeable of reimbursement processes in Australia, Europe, and North America.
Carmel possesses a thorough understanding of the principles of evidence-based medicine and applies high-quality research, analytical, strategy, and project management skills in the preparation of reimbursement submissions to the PBAC, MSAC, and other bespoke reimbursement and market access projects. Carmel is also experienced in conducting strategic payer landscaping research to understand the factors that influence reimbursement decisions globally and to inform strategy to maximise reimbursement success.
Carmel holds a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacology) and Bachelor of Social Science (Social Policy and Psychology) from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney.
